Today was the last day of summer school for me! It has been a great two weeks reading Mr. Popper's Penguins so we decided to celebrate with a bike ride to the Science Center. Jess came too, which was fun! The Science Center has a great new ecosystems exhibit. We enjoyed hearing from one of the divers in the aquarium as we admired sharks, rays, and tons of different fish. I'm thankful we have things like this close to us and I am especially thankful that today's trip was free! The day finished with a great meal (provided by Jessica!), yummy watermelon, and great conversation with a great friend. I'm thankful for Jessica!
