Happy St. Patrick's Day! On my way to my weekly Family Group this week I passed this picture on the street. This is a picture of a palm tree growing in a drain. It's hard to see, but I thought it was amazing that this little palm tree had decided to take up residence in this drain. It is also amazing to me that it is able to grow! I'm assuming it wasn't planted there on purpose but that it just ended up growing. It is easy for me to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of city life and miss things like this. So, when I see things like a palm tree growing in a drain I like to stop and take a look...or maybe even a picture!
