Every Friday we have chapel. Today's theme was, "I am a friend of God." Tracy read the story, I am Special, and some of the students acted it out. The story is a Max Lucado book about a group of wooden people who spend their day giving stars to those who have great talents and dots to those who aren't as talented. One of my students played a character who doesn't have talents like the rest of the people. He visits the "creator" and learns that he shouldn't care about what others think. The students did such a great job and even all of us teachers were moved by the story. I'm so thankful for being able to have chapel and for the opportunity to help our kids feel the love of Christ.
