For the past couple of weeks we have been learning about fractions. It has proven to be quite a difficult thing for my students. I feel it is one of those things they will learn again in 4th and 5th grade so I don't have to spend all the time in the world making sure they understand it perfectly. I just want them to be exposed to it so when they see it again they can pick up where we left off. Yesterday I had the kids make a board game. They could use dice, cards, counters, whatever they wanted. I was pleasantly surprised with how they turned out! Today we got to play the games. It was great fun!
