Today is Good Friday. I drove down to San Diego to celebrate Easter with my family. Tonight I went to church with my sister. Her church was having a worship service. After the service we headed to my parent's church for the Journey to the Cross which is an interactive walk-through experience. It consists of 14 different "stations" with verses and things to think about. Our first stop was to take a rock to carry with us. The rock represented our sin. We did foot washing, communion, and spent time at the foot of the cross meditating on Christ's sacrifice for our sins. I am thankful to have been able to participate in this and for the chance to think about Christ and the incredible love He has for each of us.
