So, Meredith and Susanne have a mutual family friend in Chicago. When she found out that Susanne was going to be teaching at LACS with us she wanted to treat Susanne and Mer's family to a meal at Nickel Diner. Well, Mer's family wasn't able to join us so she invited me! I had wanted to eat at Nickel Diner! It was very good!
Every year Julie hosts all the ladies for a Christmas Tea. It is always a fun time of fellowship with the women on staff. And, it is fun to use all of Julie's beautiful tea cups! I made snicker-doodles, which are my favorite cookies. I am pretty particular with them...I like them to be pretty chewy instead of crunchy...and these turned out great! I am thankful for that! :)
