This afternoon we did some painting in 3rd grade! We have been learning about the solar system and today's lesson was about the sun. One of the things we talked about was solar storms and their affects on earth...aurora borealis! I have never seen the Northern Lights but I really hope to one day. Today the kids painted the Northern Lights. I guess I will have to settle for watercolor Northern Lights for now! ;)
