Today my kids got creative with the pattern blocks. I love to use manipulatives when we are doing math! But, I have also learned that if you give a bunch of 9 year olds blocks and ask them to do something specific, they won't...they will try to build their own things! So, I learned that I should let the kids play with the blocks and get out all their creativity before I ask them to do specific things. These pictures are the result of their designing! I'm thankful for creative students! Some of them are flipped on their sides...
